A radius report is a report that shows cumulative demographic data for a circular area around a given location. The size of the circle is determined by a given radius. Our reports show data for 3 different circular areas, based on 3 different radius values, around a given location. Our standard-radius report shows data for 1-mile, 3-mile, and 5-mile radius values. Our custom-radius report allows you to specify the 3 radius values, from a quarter mile to 100 miles.
Our reports use data from the American Community Survey Census conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau. The specific years are 2013, 2014, 2017, and 2018 of the American Community Survey. The data obtained from the survey and used in our reports include the following data sets: Population, Age by Sex, Race/Ethnicity, Education by Sex, Education Attainment by Sex, School Enrollment by Sex and Age, Marital Status by Sex, Households, Presence of Children, Household Size, Detailed Household Income, Transportation to Work, Travel Time to Work, Vehicles Available by Tenure, Total Employees, Population Employment Sector by Sex, Housing Units: Year Structure Built, Price Asked, Mortgage Status, Mortgage Cost, Gross Rent, When Moved In, Home Value (Owner-Occupied)
Our radius reports show cumulative demographic data for 3 circular areas surrounding the location you specify. In a standard-radius report, the 3 areas are based on radius values of 1 mile, 3 miles, and 5 miles; these values cannot be customized. In a custom-radius report, you may customize the size of each circle by specifying the radius for each one, using values ranging from a quarter mile to 100 miles.
